South Wales’ Specialist Vehicle Interior Repair Workshop
Auto Interior Repairs is a specialist vehicle interior repair and reupholstery workshop based at Unit 7 Crosby Yard, Bridgend. We’ve been repairing car, van and leisure vehicle interiors across South Wales for over 14 years — working with private customers, car dealerships, fleet operators and lease vehicle holders throughout the region.
We’re not a general garage that does interior repairs on the side. This is all we do, and we’ve built the expertise, tooling and materials library to do it properly. From a single cigarette burn to a full seat reupholster, every job is carried out by an experienced technician to a standard that dealerships and private customers alike return to us for.

What We Repair
We work with leather, faux leather, vinyl, fabric, alcantara and plastic across all makes and models of vehicles. Our workshop handles:
Seat Repair and Reupholstery Leather seats with cracks, scuffs, fading or peeling. Fabric seats with rips, tears and stains. Vinyl seats with splits and surface damage. Where repair isn’t the right answer, we offer a full seat recovering service — fitting new material to existing seat frames.
Headliner Repair Sagging, torn and stained roof linings restored in-house. One of the most common jobs we carry out — and one that most general garages won’t take on.
Dashboard and Plastic Trim Repair Cracks, splits, scuffs and discolouration on dashboards, centre consoles and plastic trim panels, repaired and recoloured to match.
Steering Wheel Repair Worn, peeling and scuffed leather and plastic steering wheels restored to a clean, safe finish.
Carpet Repair Burns, stains and worn areas in vehicle carpets repaired or re-cut.
Door Card and Trim Repair Damaged door panels and trim pieces repaired and recoloured.
Cigarette Burn Repair Burns on seats, carpets and headliners repaired to an invisible or near-invisible finish.
Odour Removal Persistent smells from smoke, pets and moisture treated and eliminated.
Who We Work With
Private Customers Most of our private customers come to us because they want their car interior back to the standard it was — whether that’s preparing for a sale, fixing damage they’ve been living with, or sorting a problem before an MOT or finance inspection. We give every private customer a straight assessment and an honest quote before any work begins.
Car Dealerships We carry out pre-sale interior preparation and refurbishment for a number of dealerships across South Wales. Used car interiors take punishment — scuffs, stains, burns and wear that knock value off a vehicle before it reaches the forecourt. We fix that, consistently and quickly, to the standard the trade requires.
Fleet and Lease Vehicle Operators Fleet managers and lease vehicle holders come to us for pre-return preparation. Interior damage on a returning lease car can trigger penalty charges that far exceed the cost of a professional repair. We handle the repairs that make returns pass inspection.
Motorhome and Boat Owners Leisure vehicle interiors take a different kind of wear. We carry specialist materials for marine and motorhome upholstery and handle repair and reupholstery jobs on all types of leisure vehicles.
Our Workshop in Bridgend
We’re based at Unit 7 Crosby Yard, Bridgend, CF31 1JZ — centrally located and easy to reach from across the Bridgend county borough and the wider South Wales region. Customers bring their vehicles to us from Cardiff, Swansea, Newport, Barry, Pontypridd, the Rhondda and beyond.
All work is carried out at our workshop by our own technicians. We don’t subcontract jobs out and we don’t cut corners on materials — we use professional-grade products matched to your vehicle’s original specification on every job.
